Several performance metrics identified in Alion’s quality control plan will be applicable to Alion’s personnel. The principal focus for our core professional staff will be on assessment of proficiency in staff understanding of the Alion HRPP Accreditation Standards, regulations, the accreditation process, and site inspection protocol. All staff members will be assessed on an annual basis to determine the extent of their understanding of the process and identify knowledge gaps that need improvement. The result of the assessment will influence our internal educational process and lead to tailored training in areas.
Alion considers this cycle of continuous improvement instrumental to operating a state-of-the-art accreditation program. We conduct regular reviews of feedback collected from training sessions, site inspections, and the Annual Report to make updates to our process and improve our outreach and effectiveness with the HRP community. Project management will also assess QA/QI metrics of personnel with particular attention devoted to workload demand to preserve our commitment to dedicated staff.
